Fund Raising
The Snooker club has again agreed to man the gate at the 6 HOME games for the Sawtell Panthers Rugby League Club.
These games are held on Saturdays and Sundays at Rex Hardacre Oval.
This year we will be required to do a morning and afternoon shift.
This activity will mean a very significant revenue stream for the Snooker club.
A roster has been placed on the notice board and members are invited to nominate to assist in this activity.

The draw for the A Grade competition has been made and will be placed on the Club's notice board Thursday 2 May 2024.

ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS
RULES FOR ENTRY CLUB MONTHLY COMPETITIONS
- All who enter must at the time be financial members of the Sawtell RSL Club
- All must have paid the entry fee to the Treasurer by the closing date for nominations.
- All must have played in 10 either Tuesday or Thursday evening competitions since the end of the Champion of Champions in the previous year. Currently C of C in 2023.
- The change from 6 to 10 reflects the end of the COVID restrictions during which the requirement was dropped to 6.
- Generally members are free to enter all competitions except with the ABC competitions when members are free to enter in any grade equal to or above their listed handicap grade.
- All of this applies equally to open and handicap competitions.
- Players entering the doubles competitions are NOT free to choose their own partner which shall be determined as part of the draw
NOTE: For the Snooker Doubles competitions, due to being early in the competition year, the eligibility requirement period is Last 6 Months.
This is a social club and all are reminded of the code of conduct for all players.

Weekly Competitions
Weekly competitions are held each Tuesday and Thursday evening. Nominations in person by 5:30pm (Tuesday) and 5:00pm (Thursday).
Cost is $5.00 for Members and $7.00 for Non-members.

New Members
As a member of Sawtell RSL Snooker Club your will be entitled to full use of our facilities including personal cue storage on-site and to enter our members competitions.
Members play a variety of singles/doubles, scratch/handicap and billiards/snooker tournaments during the year.
To join you need to be a member of the RSL and then join the Snooker Club for $5.00 pa.

Merchandise
Recently a number of NOS club shirts have surfaced, and are available immediately.
There is one each of Size "M" ,"L" and "2XL" at a cost of $35.00 A further limited quantity of shirts have been ordered. Please advise Norm Monaghan of the number and sizes required. Cost will be advised later by the supplier. |

This competition shall run for the Playing year of the club, namely from the first playing night following the start of the Champion of Champions (November each year) to the commencement of the following Champion of Champions.
It shall continue as an ongoing annual competition.
Players will be awarded points for participating and being the winner or runner up in all of the club's competitions including Tuesday nights, Thursday nights and Monthly Members Tournaments.
Details and structure of the points system (separate to handicapping) and prize money can be found here.
